About Palio

Our Name

Palio, which means “flag” in Latin, refers to the Palio di Siena – the world’s first and longest-running extreme horse race. Think of it as the Renaissance version of NASCAR®. Spectators from around the world are drawn to its pageantry and excitement that builds for weeks and then, in little more than a minute, it’s over. A year of planning, training, and trash talk fades. And all that matters is the prize won, the honor, the glory, the victory of not just winning, but owning a moment that will last forever. To win a Palio is to make time stand still – to Never be forgotten.SM

Our History

In 1999, we left behind established careers in NYC and moved up to Saratoga Springs, NY (home of the country’s longest-running horse track), where our entire staff of 4 sat around a folding bridge table (which we referred to as our home office). Maybe a risky move, but we understood our skills and had a firm grasp of market forces. We identified unfulfilled needs and proceeded to deliver winning solutions. Today, even though we’ve grown dramatically, we’re still seen as an upstart. In reality, we’re a vital part of a global network of offices and talented strategic partners.

Our Vision

The destination for work that will Never be forgotten.SM

Our Mission Statement

To bravely assert incomparably original ideas that fundamentally change the life of those who experience them.

Our Values

Even though we’re in advertising, we do have our standards. Our values are baked into our way of doing business. They are:

GREAT WORK: Don’t settle for second best
WORK-LIFE BALANCE: Seriously, life outside is just as important
TEAMWORK: Play nice in the sandbox
CONTINUOUS LEARNING: You never know it all
FUN: A good laugh can make it all worth while

Can we get back to work now?
